Summer Training Institutes

Project Lead The Way® and the network of Affiliated Training Centers are pleased to announce another successful year of Professional Development Summer Training.

For future Professional Development Summer Training Institutes please note the following secondary school requirements:

  • School Districts must have a completed School District Agreement for teachers to participate in the Summer Training Institute.
  • Teachers must register as a teacher with PLTW® online, complete the online teacher assessment, and register online for the Summer Training Institute.
  • Teachers from a state that has an Affiliated Training Center must attend that center provided the course training is available. If a teacher has extenuating circumstances, which makes it impossible to attend the Summer Training Institute in their respective state, the teacher must contact their state's Affiliate Training Center Director to request the necessary changes.
  • Teachers from a state not having an Affiliated Training Center may attend any Affiliated Training Center for training.
  • Course offerings are dependent upon enrollments. If there is insufficient enrollment, the course may be cancelled at the Affiliated Training Center. Decisions regarding course offerings will be determined three weeks prior to the start of the Summer Training Institute by the Affiliated Training Center.

Summer Training Affiliates reserve the right to cancel any class if enrollment is inadequate. Please contact the institution for class confirmation prior to making flight arrangements.
